JOB TITLE: SAP HR/Payroll Specialist
LOCATION: Redwood City, CA
We are in immediate need of experienced SAP HR Payroll Consultants, for direct placement with our Fortune 50 customer. These positions will be part of a consulting team responsible for HR Payroll implementations, ABAP programming, workflow development, and support of the human resources modules of SAP. Under the direction of Presence of IT’s senior management, these positions will work closely with the business project leads to provide continuous customer support. Other duties include working with the business teams to identify product development needs and project priorities; ensure consulting and support standards are being met; develop and review new business processes; review business processes for completeness, efficiency, adherence to standards and compliance; develop and maintain project plans; assist in the resolution of production technical support issues as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement SAP HR Payroll/Time Management and other HR modules
- ABAP application development and on-going support for development items including reports, enhancements, interfaces, workflow, etc.
- Work closely with technical staff, third-party vendors, SAP direct support to ensure that project items are successfully implemented in a timely manner in order to meet deadlines
- Provide production support for technical development items such as reports, workflow, check printers, etc.
- Analyze, research, document, and recommend viable and cost efficient solutions to technical development items and/or technical-related issues
- Develop and document processes and standards to support technical related items for use by the project team members
- Provide estimates on technical development hours needs for development items
- Coordination and support the technical implementation of interfaces with the business users, Application
- Research, recommend, and apply new technologies
- Investigate, analyze, and evaluate project feasibility
- Develop project cost and benefit estimates
- Recommend solutions to technology problems
- Develop and maintain project plans
- Present technical information and concepts to non-technical staff including management, business teams, and end users
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
The desired applicant will have experience in all aspects of SAP HR modules. A general functional understanding of the supporting HR Processes is desired. Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues across the various HR modules in a hands-on manner is critical.
To qualify for this outstanding job, candidate must possess the following abilities:
- 4-year degree required
- Minimum of 2+ yrs SAP Payroll configuration
- Project lead experience in SAP HR versions 4.6C or above
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of implementation planning and fit analysis
- Configuration and testing of SAP HR implementations
- Rollout and post-implementation support
